TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Booking and Payment:

A. The Client agrees to pay the agreed-upon fee for the services of Watkanda Dance instructor in full upon booking, unless agreed with instructor to pay a 50% deposit as holding fee for scheduling, remaining payment due upon date of service.

 

B. A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure the booking, with the balance due on or before the date of the scheduled event.

2. Cancellation Policy: 

​

A. Cancellations made by the Client less than 3 days before the scheduled event may result in the forfeiture of the entire payment.

B. In the event that the dance instructor is unable to fulfill the booking due to unforeseen circumstances, Watkanda dance will make reasonable efforts to reschedule at your ("Clients") earliest convenience. 

​

3. Event Details: 

​

A. The Client agrees to provide Watkanda Dance with all necessary details regarding the event, including date, time, location, and any specific requirements or preferences.

​

B. Changes to the event details must be communicated to Watkanda Dance in writing at least 5-7 days before the scheduled event.

​

4. Travel and Accommodation: 

​

A. The Client is responsible for covering the travel expenses (including transportation, accommodation, and meals) for the dance instructor.

​

B. Watkanda Dance will provide the Client with an estimate of travel expenses, and any additional expenses incurred will be invoiced to the Client.

​

5. Liability and Insurance: 

​

A. Watkanda Dance and the dance instructor are not liable for any injuries or damages that may occur during the event.

​

B. The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary insurance coverage for the event.

​

6. Intellectual Property: 

​

A. The dance instructor retains all rights to their choreography and materials.

​

B. The Client agrees not to reproduce, distribute, or use the instructor's choreography or materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

​

7. Promotion: 

​

A. The Client grants Watkanda Dance the right to use images, videos, and promotional materials related to the event for marketing purposes.

​

8. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Maryland.
